Who we are

Cunningham Fluid Power was started by "Butch" Cunningham in 1993 and his legacy is still with us. This full-service distributor and designer of hydraulic systems has a reputation that goes beyond it local market with clients reaching across Florida as well as nationally and even internationally. The company is especially know for its outstanding customer service, with a strong reputation for being one of the rare companies in the Fluid Power industry that can diagnose and fix any issues, even on older products discontinued by the original manufacturer


UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA WIND MACHINE

We designed and fabricated the "Bad Wolf" wind machine, 100% hydraulically driven, that simulates hurricane winds and allows researchers to study consequences of hurricane and tornado winds on structures, crops, etc.

THEME PARK POWER UNIT

We designed and installed a redundant five power 150 hp hydraulic power units that constantly alternate for reliability with a kidney colling/heating/ filtration systems, that allows the hydraulic oil to run at optimal working temperature and clean conditions.

THEME PARK CYLINDER REPAIR

We repaired and installed 2 large 12.65" bore, 8.5" rod, 13'-9" stroke, 3,000 psi hydraulic cylinder weighting 12,100 lbs for a theme park. So there no "too big" task that we can take when it is related to repairing hydraulic components. 

HORSE WALKER

We designed, fabricated and install a complete 60 foot, 6 place horse walker for a local farm. The exorciser is driven by a complete hydraulic system that make it very smooth, safe and reliable. Come and talks to us about your next project. We will help you to design it and fabricate it.
